good fight, I watched on stream so that kind of killed it but to me the reason why people complain is it lacked drama, no one got hurt, no one looked in trouble, and although it was a lot closer than scorecards, you knew after a few rounds how it'd turn out in a close decision for cruz

Exactly how I feel about it. Full credit to them for engaging and giving it their all but it lacked all the things you mentioned and it was predictable. That's a typical fight, aside from those punch stats, but I think the standards have gone so down in boxing that people consider that a great fight. It was a good fight between two name fighters, boxing nowadays needs more of that.
