I wouldn't say its a classic fight... It was a good fight, but not a classic... Santa Cruz basically owned mares, though it was an action... Let's not act like this was morales-barrera

I guess not many are admitting they were wrong about Leo. I'll admit it. Not that he had the toughest challenge, but he stuck with it all 12 and got the W. But I too am wondering about him vs Russell.
Both guys went at it and didn't let up, but Mares let LSC use his height and reach. Plus he wasn't too accurate on the inside. And too much holding from both.
Mares needs a better trainer though. Garcia, Nacho, Roach... someone who can teach him to make the most of his attributes AND improve his boxing skills. I don't think it's over for him, unless he decides to stick with his current team. They aren't 'outta the cage' weak, but definitely not great.
