It would be, but it's not happening. Anyone who can look at how they fight knows this. I remember every reason Canelo was supposed to beat Floyd.

Cotto has a case being the only PR fighter to win titles in 4 different divisions.


Personally, I have him top 5.

The top three PR fighters are Benitez, Gomez and Trinidad. Cotto is up there in accomplishments and entertainment, but h2h he falls short. Benitez and Gomez for me are interchangeable. I think Benitez had more ability but I also feel like they both could have accomplished more.

Mexico I think is a little harder to chose, but it's definitely between Chavez Sr and Salvador Sanchez.

I think Mexico has the advantage over us in this one.
