He's right. Pac should not have fought injured. But Floyd ran and hugged like a poodle so both are equally to blame

It used to be hard for me to be a fan of Mayweather, until my son started training @ age 13. You take him to the gym, and you can see the different skill levels. Once you see a trained fighter, a boxer who has been training since 5-7 years old, you quickly recognize "Oh ****, my boy is trouble." My son could dish it out, and he had pop, but his defense ******! In that moment, I knew I had to introduce him to the great ones, the ones with ring generalship, footwork, and intelligence! I taught my son, that it's not enough to hit hard, you must learn to not get hit! I introduced him to Pernell and Floyd! Why? Because I didn't, and no other caring man, would want their son to turn out like Ali, Frazier, and Freddie Roach. Floyd is a master at his craft! I don't think he's TBE, but he's been a gift to the sport!

It's true what he says about Manny more the underperformer but it would have been a more meaningful gesture to put Mayweather vs Berto on CBS which would have also been the only way to defend that bout. The problem with going out on an otherwise cherry pick is that it reinforces the criticism that his unblemished record is the product of careful matchmaking. Had he gone out with somebody better than we wouldn't be left with that as the final impression. And we might be sorrier to see him go.

Complete myth. There was only 18 clinches in the fight, that averages to about 1.5 per round. Myth busted.

Floyd wasn't the one who turned down the fight years ago just because of random drug testing. In fact Floyd had even agreed to the purse split, the gloves used, and the ring size.

He wasn't the one who walked away from all that only to years later start asking opponents for random drug testing.

Great post! I totally agree! The problem is Manny should've been the "grand finale" but he's got 1 more fight to honor the contract! I wish he would've paid Showtime for breach of contract, and just rolled out the game with the highest revenue ever earned by a single athlete EVER! This fight should not be happening at all, but a CBS fight would be much more acceptable!

Bs cut off dates were the issue not testing ..Ironic that Floyd had issues with Manny's cut off dates Mr fights once a year so he could probably cycle off his crap ..But then again Floyd was the most powerful man in boxing who had to come up with unprecedented demands to,fight a midget ..Sure that was Manny's fault ..

And you don't think his fight with Roidquez had anything to do with his sudden change with testing ? I mean he was working with Memo

Well, Floyd's kinda right, we should always expect him to stink up the place, was surprising how Pac was willing to do the same. Then again he was likely injured, after-all, even Floyd acknowledged he knew about the injury thanks to his mole.

End of the day Floyd, you had Pac way past his best, injured, gun-shy, and had every physical advantage, but you still chose the cheesiest and safest possible way to engage him and squeaked by each round. But we expected that, doesn't mean we like it.

Good answer because you don't have a answer mang!

,facts are in on Jrs illustrious career:
                      1. Jr Lied when he said he fought coralles at the top of his game because history showed he had grave problems to his death !!!! Jr the vulture took advantage of it and now History shows Jrs past are filled with undeniable facts of him picking out fighters with problems:
                      1. He fought Ortiz a known Quitter instead of a prime elite!!!
                      2. Jr fought little men who at the time they could not compete at WW, JMM,Hatton all the while he could of fought aggressive prime elites , Margo Cotto Pac and Williams and was challenged at 154 with Sergio Martinez but flat out DUCKED any threat
                      3. Jr fought old men, Past Champs ODH who really won the fight and old Moses who nearly had him out
                      4. Jr has proven he can't do but one thing and that's pot shot and run! He won't go for the kill he has shown fear by backing away like he did with JMM when he was hurt.
                      5. Jr past is preying like a vulture on the weak with problems and that's his legacy frauding the public until they got all they wanted of his crying ways in the Pac thing.
                      6. Those that know will remember him that way, those that love a fraud like you and 15 more will follow him off the cliff or on his command you will jump and he will Laugh at YOU Blind dumbazz's
                      7. Have a good day mang the best you can and vote Trump to take America BACK from the past 8 years of a failed administration !!!!
