    Rico's chin

I asked a poster that mentioned Rigo was made of porcelain but actually want to have some feedback from other posters as well......

What makes people say Rigo has a glass chin or like previously mentioned that he's made of porcelain? I'm just curious. I've never seen him hurt badly and when he got rocked HARD by Nonito he got back up like nothing. Not one wobble or **** was given.....now I'm not saying he has a granite chin. Just so seeing what makes people say Rigo has no chin. Any facts or just assumptions? Because I haven't seen anything that remotely comes close to saying he has a glass jaw. I mean Juan Manuel Marquez gets rocked and knocked down a whole lot but he gets back up smooth and fine and no one says he's got a glass jaw, quite the contrary. Is it just sincere hate for Rigo? Interested in what you guys think. And please no assumptions, give me hard facts that his chin is delicate, maybe there's a fight I've never seen before where he proves to have no chin that I don't know about.

Don't know what the correct way to put it, I see the comparisons with Marquez. Both get dropped frequently but don't really seem hurt, I guess you can say their chin is shaky but both recover fairly quickly.

I hear you, but shaky is worlds apart from , China chin, glass chin, porcelain chin. Sounds like just hate and assumptions to me. I for one consider Marquez to have a great chin. Now, if you do the stanky leg a la Zab Judah then I can see where someone might say that.

Glass is a stretch, as pointed out it's similar to Marquez but then again I'm not quite sure that's fair, I've seen Marquez get hit with very big shots and take them very well. Rigondeaux is a little guy and for the love of me I can't see why people want to see him in there against a much bigger Lomachenko.

Yeah that's why I say it's hard to qualify it in the correct term. Marquez can take a shot like no other and the only time I truly thought he was hurt was the 5th round of the fourth Pacquiao fight. He also did a little dance across the ring in their second fight. But never after a knock down he always recuperates quickly and has his legs at full strength.
