    Cotto wants a Mayweather rematch

In quotes reported by the New York Daily News, Cotto said: 'Mayweather said before that he's going to retire after this fight [with Andre Berto in Las Vegas on September 12].
'I can't point to someone who's not going to be here later. But if he's going to stay after his fight [against Berto], I think and I know that's a fight that people can watch.'
Puerto Rican Cotto, who will turn 35 in October, is confident of beating 25-year-old Mexican Alvarez when the two fight at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Too bad, if he wanted Floyd why not fight Canelo last Dec or May, then he would be fighting Floyd right now. If he would have beat Canelo and Floyd beat Manny the fight could be huge right now, but instead we get Berto and Cotto vs weight drained Geale. So fu k Cotto.

There's no better way for Mayweather to end his career then against Cotto or Canelo for the middleweight title. 50-0.

The WBC worships the ground Floyd walks on, so they'll definitely make an exception if that opportunity presents itself. Floyd is going to be a free agent, so really any opponent is possible. He's going to go with the best offer and opportunity, as he should. No way is he retiring on 49-0.

It goes without saying they would allow it. Floyd has been WBC in almost every class he has been in, they would welcome the sanction fees.
