There's no better way for Mayweather to end his career then against Cotto or Canelo for the middleweight title. 50-0.

I don't know if I'd watch a May/Canelo rematch. The first fight was ugly and I'm not sold on Canelo being a fundamentally different fighter from that fight.
On paper winning a 3rd lineal would be nice but Idk if many will be impressed by the fact that it came by beating a fighter you've basically shut out already.

Yeah I'm not totally disrespecting the lineal title, every now and again things like that will happen. Thankfully, Lennox Lewis quickly relieved Briggs of that title.

Cotto doesn't deserve a rematch. His performance is profoundly overrated on this site.

Cotto hasn't beat anyone good since broke down Sergio. Canelo retires Cotto. And I say good riddance. The dude is a diva and believes his own hype.

If the WBC has a contractual obligation to have the winner of Cotto-Canelo face GGG next, they will strip him...If you think they're just gonna skip it because it's Floyd...go read up on Rocchiegani vs WBC...

Cotto-Canelo will just get the IBO title and defend the lineal championship vs Floyd, like Hopkins and Tarver have done previously.
