Standing in front of your opponent with your arms crossed and using ur shoulder i don't consider toe to toe. Floyd is just no my kind of fighter. Trading blows, countering, not to much backing up is my kind of fight

Been saying this for a while it only makes sense him to fight the winner only problem......hes with rocnation and jayz and al haymon dont really see eye to eye.

Dont know if floyd would want to take a big risk in cotto fight at 160 (or catchweight) when hell be 39 by the time he could fight him or canelo (again a problem as Golden Boy sueing al haymon too)

I don't know if I'd watch a May/Canelo rematch. The first fight was ugly and I'm not sold on Canelo being a fundamentally different fighter from that fight.
On paper winning a 3rd lineal would be nice but Idk if many will be impressed by the fact that it came by beating a fighter you've basically shut out already.

Canelo has shown like Danny Garcia that they need an aggressive fighter to come to them to be successful, and Floyd always dictates how the fight plays out so Canelo would again be forced to be the aggressor like he was vs Floyd & Lara and will not look too good, again.

At least with Cotto, he's a much better style matchup vs Floyd than Canelo is

And yet, I'm picking Canelo to beat Cotto because....styles make fights, plus he's a lot younger, fresher, and not been knocked out more than once.

I'd actually give floyd credit if he fought the winner of GGG/Lemeiux x Cotto/Canelo for #50, that would easily be his most career defining victory depending on how he wins the fight

As I said in my previous post, Floyd doesnt have to fight anybody. But if he fights for a Middleweight title. It should be against the man that everyone believes will ko floyd. That's GGG. Not cotto. Nobody will pick cotto except cotto fans, and Freddie roach.

Cotto cant beat floyd and I know this because we already saw them fight.

Be taking golovkin undefeated record is way more impressive than beating a guy you already beat.

And not just beat. Floyd beat cotto in a cotto type of fight. Floyd didn't run, he stood and fought and he still beat cotto.

Cotto vs Mayweather doesn't move the needle.

Mayweather vs golovkin makes me foam at the mouth
