I bet that if the FMJr. rematch does not happen for his 50th and Cotto retirement fight...then GGG its it.

Now and Im 100% serious about this:

The ONLY fight I would accept after Canelo other than GGG is FMJr. If no Floyd then Cotto MUST fight GGG or Ill personally call him out.
Finally an unbiased Cotto fan here. good job.

What does down the road mean? 1 year, 2 years! I hope the WBC strip Diva Cotto if he wins and then starts playing games.

I'll take Cotto and Canelo over GGG. It's going to be nasty when that hype train crashes. Their body work would neglect some of that power.

I am pulling for Cotto to win this fight, however if anyone still believes anything that comes out of Freddie Roach's mouth, please reflect on his history of pre-fight "hype"

                April 30, 2015:

It seems incomprehensible, impossible, but Manny Pacquaio’s trainer says he wouldn’t be surprised if Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a no-show for Saturday’s “Fight of the Century.”

                Really.

Freddie Roach dropped that little bombshell on USA Today and kept repeating the claim that is, we repeat, incomprehensible.

Roach was asked for his thoughts on bout, interrupted and said “if [Mayweather] shows up. I am still worried about that. I won’t believe it until I see him in front of us in the ring.”

A 47-0 fighter not showing up for a $300 million fight that will pay him at least $150 million?

“I just think he was forced into this fight,” Roach said. “He didn’t want this fight. Every fight he has had in his lifetime was one that he picked. This is the first one he was forced into and I feel he was uncomfortable. They made him take it, Showtime.”

Roach added that his spies in the Mayweather camp told him the fighter skipped three days of training last week.

“I am not [lying],” Roach said. “I know from people who were there. Word gets out and Vegas is a small place.”

                  B) Cotto is not scared to fight anyone as most fighters aren't. This has been proven time and time again. No need to explain any more.

                  C) This fight will happen provided that GGG and Cotto keep winning at MW. Roach has nothing to do with it, cash money does.

                  The end......
I agree with everything except your first point .....

Olympic/amateur credentials cannot contribute to greatness.

                  Professional achievments do.

I will just leave it there......

It depends on GGG's performance against Lemieux, that will more than likely be the determining factor whether the winner faces him next or not.

If Cotto wins, I feel he'll go after a Floyd rematch, which I'm sure Floyd will go after as well. After that fight GGG can just pick up the belt, he ain't done **** at MW anyway in the 10 years he's been there.

I'm sure he'll beat Lemieux, but man do I want David to spark him out.
