Not close to being the same but still the same sort of thing. It's about magnitude. Rankings are highly subjective as well. Do you ever thing that marketing people would have asked these bogus ranking bodies to put Pac at number 2 in the run up to this fight to market it as being 1 against 2, even if he did not deserve to be there in reality?

Ray Leonard was ranked highly when Terry Norris beat him, is Norris's win the same level as Duran's win over Leonard in their first fight?

The point is that Floyd cherry picked Pacquiao when he had only a little bit left, was a shadow of his former self, like Leonard did to Hagler. away with you son. You probably have no idea about boxing that didnt occur 2 years ago.

You are 100% correct. If Floyd had beaten Manny back in 2010 these guys would have still had their excuses. Such as Manny was too small, Floyd ran, etc.

How is fighting the second best fighter in the world, the WBO welterweight champion, and your career rival a cherry pick?

Don't spew memes at me you 3rd rate intellect. Really I take exception to that. I get it you have seen Tropic Thunder I'm happy for you.

Same way Ray Leonard cherry picked Hagler when he saw he had slowed down vs Mugabe, RayLeonard swerved Hagler for years and years then finally saw he could beat him then agreed the fight. Floyd agreed when he saw Pac had only a little left and Showtime was putting the pressur eon him to make it. Pac was a shadow of his prime self, face facts.

In the broadcast of Hagler vs Mugabe Ray Leonard is clearly heard saying "You know I think I can beat him now", or words to that effect. Ray Leonard waited til Hagler slowed down then chose to fight him>cherry pick.

I know what ray leonard did. I've stayed it on this site numerous times. That dies not make it a cherry pick. Hagler was still a very dangerous fighter near the top of his game. U seem to think u can just throw terms around and they will stick. Two great past prime fighters near the top of the p4p list fighting each other is not a cherry pick. Learn wtf the word means and stop being a know it all douche. You just make yourself look bad.

Around round 7 or 8 Toney started to sneak in some hard punches. He started to really step up the pace. In round 9 or 10 he landed a really good punch on Nunn and you could tell the fight was changing.

I just remember the announcers of the copy I've seen giving Toney zero credit at all. To me he was winning some rounds. Then of course round 11 happened and Nunn (you can argue) was ruined by Toney.

Is anyone surprised that Pacquaio is considered a cherry pick now after Floyd's beaten him?

We've seen this film a few times already people.

For the record McCallum and Jirov might actually be Toney's best wins. Floyd for what it's worth would never lose to some of the types of guys Toney lost to, aND that is what sets them apart. But you can argue that Toney's best 2 wins trump Floyd's.
