Skills for skills he was, but when u compare accomplishments they're very close and that was my point, Bradley had a great run at 140 just like the run Nunn had before he fought Toney. There were a lot of talented fighters that acvomplished less than much lesser fighters, and that's irrelevant, only accomplishments matter, not potential cuz nobody can predict the future.
True or False: James Toney's win over Michael Nunn is better than any win of Floyd's?

Donald Curry, Iran Barkely, Kalambay .. Those three alone is better than anything bradley has (legitimately) accomplished. We're talking HOFamers here. Honestly, Bradley has gone life and death with extremely average fighters who's got names for some reason like Holt and Alexander.
When has Bradley put a clinic on a top fighter like Nunn did against Curry? Or destroyed a HOFamer in their prime like Nunn did againt Kalambay?
There's no competition here.Comment

Witter, Alexander, Holt, Peterson? Where's the greatness because I'm missing it.
All of those are dead average who any half-decent world champion should be able to beat a lot easier than Bradley did.Comment

No it wasnt better than Toney vs Nunn cuz he already lost the first fight to Pacquiao and in that first fight Bradley was moving up in weight to challenge Pacquiao, all are things that take away from Pacquiao's victory over Bradley when he was rated P4P (the rematch )Comment

On topic, why does a singular victory matter, given that the rest of Toney's resume doesn't stack up?Comment
-
But Michael Nunn is very arguably the best win on either resume.Comment

U see u still dont get my point, I agree that NOW these fighters are average, but going into the Bradley fight they had a lot of potential, so u can't take away from Bradley's victories cuz he's not a psychic, he didn't know that their careers would go down the ****terAFTER he fought them, he fought them when they were THE guys at 140, and he beat them, and for that he deserves credit!Comment

Kendall Holt and Lamont Peterson? Meh. Also then, not great fights just good.
Devon Alexander was seen as a top fight for some odd reason. I will never know how, I always thought he was extremely average.
Amir Khan would have been the defining fight for Bradley at 140. Of course we all know how that went, and in my opinion there were better fighters at the time he could have fought like Matthysse or even Olusegun who's a helluva strong fighter and undefeated at the time.
Bradley did good at 140. But it wasn't spectacular by any means. And he certainly didn't clear out 140 like Garcia did for example - the greater 140er of the two imo.Comment

I remember it being a dead even 50-50 fight. I certainly remember Mayweather not being "the clear underdog".
Michael Nunn was a great champion. Much better than Bradley easy.
