Just the first Castillo fight. I thought Castillo won by a couple points.

The first Maidana fight was close but I don't think you can make a case for Maidana actually winning that fight. I had that one 8-4. A lot of people had it 7-5.

I actually saw it the opposite, although I've only watched the Madaina fight once, I thought it was closer. Castillo simply didn't win more than 5 rounds, you can't find a 6th round to give to him IMO to even get a draw.

The fact is those were his only two really close fights, if Madaina and Castillo had been given the wins it would have been two decisions I strongly disagreed with, but it wouldn't have been total robbery. When you're in a close fight, the judges can get one round wrong and score the other 11 perfectly and it can cost you.

Most fighters are the victims of a couple bad decisions in their careers, because most fighters are in a lot of close fights, especially when they get to championship level. Floyd has been in two close fights his whole career, and maybe 3 or 4 others that weren't blowouts. A guy of similar age in JMM has been in maybe 12-15 really close fights, that's why he's probably got a couple losses in his record that seem like robberies.

I think definitely two losses no dis*****g that but maybe you could stretch further with the Oscar Dela Hoya fight that could have gone either way but a robbery maybe not so... BUT when you come to fight the champion and the champion is dictating how the fight is fought and is landing the harder punches more frequently well you tell me that doesn't make you question why Floyd got such a favourable decision in his favour.

Then the Zab Judah fight that could have easily been stopped with a DQ with any other fighter I think it would have but sure I wont count this really because as much as Roger disrespected the officials and all the fans with his absolutely disgraceful tantrum he took during the fight to cause that ruckus I still don't think Floyd should have been punished because of that scumbag however any other fighter likely would have and that's just plain knowledge.

The losses I definitely see Floyd having are the first fights with Maidana and Castillo there is no dis*****g these fights, Floyd just simply lost but was gift wrapped a robbery in his favour.

If people are dis*****g a decision where a guy won by only 2 rounds it can likely be scored for the guy who lost the fight too. That is not a robbery. It's a close fight where either man could have won.

Some fights are not close fights that either man could have won. Those are the robberies.
That's why I said the term "robbery" itself is a subjective term. Some use it solely to describe fights where they believe the winner was beyond dispute, seemingly winning the majority of the rounds but he lost the fight officially. An example of this is Campillo vs Cloud where Cloud's own mother fainted after the decision was announced - because of the shock that it was awarded to Cloud.

But others use the term loosely, which is why I said originally "some viewers label the fights as "robberies" --because the term "robbery" itself is subjective.

This persistent BS of the Mayweather vs De la Hoya fight being close and some even saying it could've went to De la Hoya is really just insane to me.

That fight wasn't close at all. I have come to realize along time ago to many so called fans of this sports score fights based on their own rules and not the rules boxing has in place for scoring fights. Its crazy that fans in boxing score fights based on their own made up rules but don't do the same for any other sport.

Scoring by the rules boxing has in place which are Ring Generalship, Clean punching, Defense and effective aggression. There is no way in the world the Mayweather vs De la Hoya fight can be scored as a close fight. 8-4 is the closet a normal unbiased person could have it.

Nah he clearly lost the castillo fight.

Maidana beat him Scoring round by round. Floyd finished that fight solid.

Same with oscar. Oscar was winning but let it get away.
