Andy Lee, powerful? or just good timing?

he goes looking for that ko too much these days, he used to be a more rounded fighter but since getting a couple good kos, he just pushes forward, looking for a good right hook. it will be enough for bjs though.Comment

he doesnt throw much, but he throws/trades enough to break even/get the better of the exchanges... at least thats what it feels like when i watched his fights.Comment

I would say both... Timing can make an impact but what Lee shows to me is a combination of both. He often waits and takes his time early in fights, lose the first 4-5; and then he begins to open up counters lazy jabs/cominations.
It's a mixture of pure power and boxing technique taught by one of the best!Comment

It's both. The right hook might be the most devastating punch in boxing if done right. It's such a weird punch. Most southpaws don't even throw it that well. His is so short and compact. When he landed it against Quillen live you could hear the pop.
Really I hope he knocks his next opponent out so we can see a GGG fight because Lee is always in a good fight.Comment
