Each steps right to the other in the middle of the ring and Canelo stops Andy Lee in a FoY candidate after 8 or 9 rounds.

Canelo unlike Cotto would mix it up on the inside with Andy Lee, Cotto is scared of doing this so Canelo would likely take a KO stoppage and win with comfort.

Lee is an exciting fighter with a great right hook but his overall ability is not as good as Canelo's ability. Canelo has a great chin while Lee's chin is just average at the championship level. I know someone might bring up Canelo being hurt by Cotto's brother so his chin is not so great. Canelo was only a 19 year old welterweight then and Cotto can punch and caught him just right and followed up well. Canelo stayed on his feet and went on to win by KO and no hard puncher has hurt Canelo since then. If Lee catches Canelo with a perfect punch he might win by KO. It's more likely Canelo hurts Lee and finishes him off. If the fight goes 12 full rounds Canelo's superior skill will win the fight for him. One thing for sure is both fighters have big hearts and come to fight so it would be a great fight.

Canelo is the better fighter but that right hook is no joke. I would favour Canelo but Lee would be a live dog.

Canelo has always struggled with length, I see Lee winning a UD. Maybe scoring a KD

Idk who would win but it would be FOTY for sure and possibly fight of the decade between two great Irish warriors.

                andy lee is f#cking slow.

i saw him fight live in connecticut once. he's as stiff as a board. can hardly bend at the waist.

his advantage is size. that's it. he's a big middleweight in terms of his frame.

Andy has fought at 154 bro when he decapitated John Jackson. That was not that long ago.
