Leo Santa Cruz can pull this one off.


Mares gasses out late, if he can keep the pressure on him, with his stamina he probably could wear him down. But he hasn't fought at that level, so it is a toss up as far as knowing what he could do. Just too many question marks with LSC that makes it uncertain.

I think LSC's high punch volume is due to the level of opposition he's faced.

Mares will get Leo's respect early in order to curtail that output, then go to the body with some punches straying too low.

If it turns into a slugfest, either man can win by KO. For a decision, I'll go with Mares.

Not a fan of Leo Santa Clown, but Mares has been looking average in his last fights and still has Gonzalez problems. The hype is not seeping in in my consciousness. Fight is average.
