Regardless, my point still stands, and you don't need more than one fight to observe his style, which is where the topic arose. How many fighters fight drastically different fight to fight? You don't need 32 fights of a fighter to gauge his ability.
Charley Burley's only competition at 147 would've been Mayweather today

The few clips of him and his boxing record is enough to gauge how great he was

Archie Moore said charley Burley was the best he ever fought....not ezzard Charles, Marciano, Harold Johnson, or the other more known fighters.....that's a big compliment there

      Do you have it yet?

You said you'd have access to it in a months time and that was over a month ago.
Loooooool. I completely forgot about that. Thanks for bringing it up.

I am working out of town so that doesn't help. I will let you know when I have gotten around to it.
      Pretty convenient...

There is generally more serious discussion in the History Section, when the Ali-tards aren't running rampant. You can find me giving Marciano a ******* there from time to time.
I use to try the history section but its not enough traffic and I usually forget the good threads I was in after a day or two

Not this site as a whole but Non Stop Boxing is a lot trash littered with specks of gold when guys who actually follow the sport leave real comments...no trolling

You are making it up That you have more footage atleast.

You didn't say that You said you had it.

And to answer your question is that the only footage on Earth. Yes it is.

And no you can't gauge how good a fighter's defense is off one small highlight video of one fight. You just can't.

            Exactly. well said.

But Irondamhanza wants 30 fights before you can assess his ability.

Nothing convenient about it. I love my PC and want it back up, and if I have to spend yayper to do it I will be pissed. I am a software engineer so I want my PC up for many different reasons, til then I am stuck on a company laptop.

              I don't want 30 fights.

But I'd like more than one or two short grainy highlight videos.

How can you gauge someone's defence and skills off that?

Like realpugilist said, real person accounts like Archie Moore.

What we need is more boxers who are ready and willing to get in the ring against the best opponents to prove themselves, not boxers who only fight for the money. We need more fighters with balls and less Miguel Cottos in the sport.

I can give a fighter his due credit If he hasn't conducted his career like a circus show for me I recognize Floyd as a talented fighter but for the sport he makes a mockery of it.

Everyone else on the list I can give their due props.

Less Cottos, Mayweathers and so on If you're up at the top level with the biggest fan base you should be giving back and you shouldn't be acting so selfish like these guys have displayed plenty of times in the past.
NEWS FLASH: Nobody is asking you to carry on your fighting career If you're worried about getting hurt/injured or whatever just don't bite the hand that feeds you because in the end of the day we're all watching this sport to be entertained.
