tought fight to call...the question is..can castillo take cotto's punch and can cotto take castillo's punch..the fight probably wont happen though because cotto is supposly moving up in weight to 147

I looked on Boxrec, and if that's true then it certainly suggests that they are taking Paulie lightly. I personally think that Paulie will either outpoint Cotto or make him look so bad in losing that everyone and their mother will be badmouthing Cotto again. When all is said and done though, I don't think it will matter because if Cotto fights Castillo I don't see him lasting until the final bell. I know that people say he's not just a brawler, that he can box and I agree, but Castillo was able to land quite a bit on Mayweather and Floyd's leagues above Cotto in that respect. On top of that, Castillo hits much harder than anyone Cotto's faced, and he can hit like that for 12 rounds. I think it spells doom for Cotto even if he does beat Paulie lol

cotto hasnt proven himself yet. paulie has a good chance of an upset. cotto is killing himself to make weight. castillo would be favored in my book.

I understand about the level of opposition or lack therof in Malignaggi's case, but I'm just going by what I've seen from Cotto and Paulie and IMO Paulie is just alot faster than Cotto and I haven't seen his legs go away in the course of a fight. My only point is, even if Paulie can't outpoint Cotto, I still think he's fast enough to avoid Cotto's bombs until the last bell rings, and then everyone will be saying that Cotto couldn't even KO a supposed bum with no power and no resume.
