I mean how much longer are people going to f'ing ignore the fight. He left HBO and only when the fight couldn't get made started talking shhhh. I get it Kovalev is white and has had some questionable quotes out there but for the love of god put that aside and face the facts. These guys wanted a purse bid because they knew the fight wouldn't get made that way and they weren't going to void their contract and it now gives him "false ammunition to fire off his guns". This is all smoke and mirrors, who the hell is Adonis facing on PBC or Showtime worthy of tuning in for? Nobody, so he's comfortable talking shhh and getting paid to fight non-threats. Yet Kovalev gets heat for fighting his mandatory. Go figure.

Difference here is Adonis could've stayed on HBO and had that one fight with Kovalev and then gone his way. Adonis already fulfilled his contract with Showtime which was on a fight by fight basis which is why he was being discussed for CBS if Duva had been a ****** woman and voided her contract with HBO. Kovalev on the other hand just got an EXTENSION which is a huge difference between a new contract. Adonis got shhh for it? Yeah two days and then it became a shhh fest on Kovalev. Hopkins had no problem signing the fight in two days though...

This is the same Stevenson who had a deal with main Events to fight Kovalev months ago but backed out, correct? If he was so sure then why did he back out? That's because Haymon is his puppet master and now tells him what to do to avoid fights.
