He has to be thinking like that and he believes he can bet him , so in reality he is keeping it real , both these guys are real fighters and we will see some stellar power boxing in this fight, and it could easily make the fight of the year . Its a pickum fight for me, this is such a quality fight I cant wait .

canelo was flat out not ready for that fight. he should of fought lara and cotto BEFORE mayweather. he was outclassed and was not ready for that level of competition. 2 pounds would not have made a difference

Both of their competition has lacked, the best out of who they faced was Lara for Canelo, and while Lara could have done more to secure the win, I thought he should have won a close or split decision.

Canelo's team understands he can't be fighting guys who can make him look bad, guys with great skill and movement, that's why he fought Angulo/Kirkland.

Cotto's comp has ****** too tbh with you. Canelo's fought better comp though.

I don't like Canelo, I'm more of a fan of Cotto's, but I don't think Cotto is re-invigorated, and at this point in time I think Canelo may be too strong for Cotto. I do feel like Canelo lacks sometimes on the inside so I dunno. Depends on what Cotto's game plan is, if he boxes, and uses his good jab, he's got a good chance to win. He has a good chance on the inside, but I think Canelo has the power to spark him out.

Spot on, Canelo got ****d mentality and was not in the fight , his entire mindset was all wrong and not seasoned enough to fight Floyd , and he is mechanical and that style has no hope against Floyd . The 2 pounds didnt do much wrong physically, he was sharp strong and he never tired out like he normally did, he just could not do anything .

Floyds very smart he knew where Canelo was at and a good time to take the fight , but by the same token Canelos robotic style will never beat Floyd, if they fought now Floyd would out box him again , that fight was as big as it was for one reason, at the time lots of people thought Canelo would beat him .

We have some people in the forum who have posted Lara could beat GGG or Mayweather. Canelo had a close fight with that guy!

Fighting Matthew Hatton for a vacant title that's right for the sport?
