Hall of Fame trainer Nacho Beristain is picking Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (45-1-1, 32KOs) to overtake WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto (40-4, 33KOs) of Puerto Rico on November 21st at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
Canelo is seen as the favorite in the contest, despite that fact that Cotto knocked out his last three opponents in style. Canelo has stopped two of his last three, but had issues during last July's fight with WBA 'regular' junior middleweight champion Erislandy Lara.
