It took him 7 rounds to get Cloud out, 6 rounds to get Bellew out, 5 rounds to get Sukhotsky out and he couldn't get Fonfara or Bika out.
His power is overrated.

I can understand him wanting to have a lineal champ in his stable. But the way he is matching Stevenson is doing nothing but harm to the Haymon/PBC brand and reputation.

But Kovalev has proved himself to be much better than I thought he was back then, and Adonis has been exposed as a one-trick pony. Apart from his left hook, Stevenson doesn't seem to have a lot going for him.
I would love Kovalev to beat him and unify the LHW titles. But, as a fight, Kovalev/Stevenson doesn't interest me too much any more. I think Kovalev would handle him easily.

Imagine if stevenson lands. I don't like either but both have power
