Thurman isn't ducking I don't think. He's face guys with stronger and crazier power than Porter not to mention guys who are way more skilled. I think Thurman is setting up something big - a Khan fight would make sense and winner gets Brook-Chaves. Last I heard, Bradley was also in the running. I think Maidana needs a tune up first but he'd give Thurman hell - possibly his first loss by TKO.

Porter ain't got nothing on most of the welterweights

        They have a history.

Porter used to get the better of Thurman, because he was a better boxer and more experienced. That was awhile back.

Kenny Porter alluded to it when he stated that lately he had been impressed with Thurmans boxing ability and that Thurman was coming on nicely.

Porter would be Thurmans best win.

There is nothing wrong with that fight, and no reason why it shouldn't happen.

Kenny Porter also wouldn't have his son step into the ring with Thurman at the time "he alluded to it."

I'm pretty sure everyone saw the video of old Mosley catching Porter, Porter gets smashed by Thurman.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Thurman is too good for the fight, I'd like to see it happen (or at least, I'm anxious for any top 10 to get in the ring with Thurman). The Porters are on tape ducking this fight before though. You could argue Porter would be Thurman's best win, but Thurman would also be Porter's.

EDIT: I just want to make sure I spell it out, Porter never got the better of Thurman. That's pure speculation from fanboys. Porter and Thurman put in good work and then after they did Kenny Porter is on tape talking about how they don't want Thurman until "down the road" once Porter and Thurman had "cleaned out their side of the WW division."

Im startn to think Haymon doesnt know what the he11 hes doing and hes surrounded by idiots just as clueless. Ive come to this conclusion bcuz they have the names to make a great product but they would rather put out a generic product instead, its baffling. With the exception of a single fight, Porter bs Broner. Maybe Haymon just has the impression that he knows what hes doing and thats the basis of his success. Hed make a great poker player.

Danny has been carefully matched well so far and put in winnable fights. Keeping in mind Matthyse is vastly overrated. Danny has some skills but isn't yet near great. Fight Crawford then??
Of all the names youve mentioned, Garcia is the most accomplished and is on par with Bradley in that sense. Hes KOd Khan btw. Hes beaten better fighters than all of em. All those guys need to get to work, Danny is already established.

Oh I thought Porter vs Thurman is already being worked on. Is Thurman hoping that another Bundu would pop out of nowhere? Joselito Lopez is available.

With all these name welterweights being signed with Haymon, how can they avoid each other for much longer? Khan, Porter, Thurman, Garcia all going to have to fight each other at some stage. Make it happen!
