I think they're totally different times and difficult to compare. Guys fought a lot more back then and Duran went on to defeat Barkley a few years after that. I get your point though, it's indisputable that Floyd is great.

Would have Floyd stayed "undefeated" without the duck and grab? Without the punch and push the head after missing? Without the headlock? Without the running without fighting?

Watch other high-profile fights like Calzaghe and Jones. At least those guys fought each other.

Floyd's strategy is not allowing his opponent to fight him. Would have been ok if what he was doing was legal, like just beating his opponent to the punch at all times. But grabbing when attacked? Pushing the head if he misses his punch?

Sugar Ray Leonard didn't fight Aaron Pryor when that fight was hot, he openly admitted to waiting Marvin Hagler out until he realized Hagler was on the slide, and he didn't fight Mike Mccallum because Mccallum beat Sugar Ray's brother in the amateurs, he fought Duran at a weightclass where Duran was not at his best and he still lost. Yet Sugar Ray is considered one of the greatest fighters of all time.

Floyd has fought and beat more world champions than Marciano Calzaghe, and Ottke combined so how is he far worse than those guys?
Heres the difference, people recognize Ray as one of the greatest of all time. Many of your fellow Floyd Stans say he is the greatest of all time.

I've seen many all time great lists that had Floyd in the top ten p4p fighters of all time. And that was before the Pacquiao fight.

Can you point out these posts? You won't find more than a couple of lunatics that actually think he's the GOAT.

Did OP just call Marciano overrated? The guy beat everyone available to him, can you say the same for Floyd? Marciano is criminally underrated on these forums, mostly by ethnic posters who haven't even watched a single one of his fights.

He didn't move up in weight or beat other champions while he was champion, an impossible task considering he was the sole champ. Lol make sense?
