he's punishing pascal..and he's actually right..not just bc pascal did way more than he had to with name calling, but bc pascal was the number 1 contender and he fought kovalev bc he would make more money. stevenson was fine with the fight going to purse bid bc he gets 75% of the take..pascal didnt like it..the champ wants his money..might be wrong, but pascal felt he was a bigger draw and above a purse bid only to get ktfo...too bad. first hopkins ducked by outpricing and makin kovalev take less, then pascal did it, then kovalev ducks purse bid. i give the dude a pass on whoever he fights..these are the facts

Stevenson ain't doing himself any favors if he's really trying to distance himself from a Pascal fight. Stevenson is fighting guys no one cares about for far too long, he'd be doing himself & his career a huge solid by fighting Pascal at this point.

He's made himself almost irrelevant as the #2 guy in the division second to only Danny Garcia who made himself almost irrelevant as the #1 in his division.

I think Stevenson is duck as puszy personally But he has a point. Pascal Loss to Gonzales! hands down LOSS! If anyone deserves the shot its Gonzales!!!!

I don't think so, gonzalez walked foerward and was out landed. but hbo gave him rounds he obviously lost. I watched on a diffrent feed and was surprised to watch the hbo feed that had the fight way different.

He signed with Haymon & got a long term deal with Showtime. Stevenson & Haymon gave HBO time to match the offer. Kovalev wins and his promoter turns down not one but two purse bids, while her fighter isn't signed to any network. He was free to fight anywhere at that time. He's not called a duck. Instead his promoter is blamed, Al Hamon is blamed, the WBC is blamed, GYM is blamed, hell, even Floyd is blamed.

These are the facts. Stevenson never ran to Showtime, HBO refused to match the offer. Pascal & Hopkins choose to fight Kovalev instead of Stevenson. Team Kovalev refused to fight Stevenson by pulling out of the purse bid. But somehow, despite the facts, Stevenson is called a duck.

Does all that explain why Stevenson keeps taking soft touches? Karpency seems like a swell fella but he isn't even remotely close to being a challenge and should be dispatched of within 4 rounds.
