Maybe it is something too hard to accept for many blind fans and especially you, but no one can deny that Kovalev has locked himself under a safer contract, which pay's less with less risky opposition. Kathy & Egis "sweetdaddy" Klimas decided to not pay Kovalev at his fair value, «Ex: $650 000 for B-Hop».
Since the last 2 years, Sergey Kovalev and «Stevenson's name» saved the entire Main Events Promotions. And because of that, Kathy Duva will do everything to make sure Kovalev won't run the risk of losing all his belts trying to face Adonis Stevenson for the WBC title.
Kovalev knows it and endorses it, not to mention he keeps on talking trash about Stevenson. For less money, Kovalev is the one ducking, but you guys are denying the truth by refusing to see it, hear it or smell it...

He was lame before Dawson, took advantage of an unearned shot against a shot Dawson, and has been lame since. He had one opportunistic moment and has turned it into a "title reign."
