This is a 2-1 fight at best, whoever lands the real bomb first will win this fight. This isn't a fight about skills, this isn't a fight about who is going to box better, it's a fight where the bombs are going to decide the fight. You don't put odds at 16-1 for two guys are going to straight up meet in the center of the ring and go to town on each other. That's just foolish, maybe the odd makers know something we don't. I like Golovkin but this will not be an easy fight by any stretch. He could afford to take shots from other opponents but most of them lacked one punch ko power, this kid does not. Money is still on Golovkin but if the odd makers are going to make it 16 - 1, it's hard not to put some money on the opponent.

GGG will win but I just hope Lem connects with a few good shots.

Yes. It will be interesting to see how Golovkin takes big shots from a guy who's stock in trade is landing big shots.

It's more competitive than 16-1 that is for sure.

Surely that can be coached into him over a 4 year period?

They are incredibly wide and probably don't reflect the bookmaker's opinion of where the fight goes. 16-1 most likely reflects extremely heavy betting on Golovkin so the odds are stretched out to discourage betting on Golovkin.

I'm not an expert and I don't normally bet and I also thing GGG will win but considering Lemieux has a great punch then these odds are very enticing. Might be even better odds for Lemieux in first 6 rounds - 33-1 ?

My feeling exactly - see my post above. This often happens in title fights in Britain too where a very popular Brit such as Hatton or Benn or maybe Bruno comes up against a better opponent from overseas - the odds are stretched out because of the heavily one-sided betting - it's a statistical opportunity.

same as in trading - you take your losses and aim for the 20-1 or 30-1 returns. These are great odds and sharp gamblers will be snapping up these odds as we read and write on this article and then those odds will come into 12-1 and maybe even 4-1.

Sanchez say GGG making adjustments in training. I'd reckon more lateral movement?

Sorry but in Lem's case he cannot adjust his chin. There's no such thing as adjusting your chin, he just doesn't have the physical advantages of say a Wladimir Klitschko who is just so much much taller and has superior reach than all of his opponents so he adjusted his style. Lem doesn't have that luxury.
