Ward needs to get his fat butt up and fight Kovalev who has said that he would love to fight Ward. Ward is the one who seems to be lacking the balls.
You GGG fan boys are the non sense, Why Ward have to move up but is ok for GGG to call out Floyd Maywether? GGG has been facing bum and the reason he is seling is because the ticket prices are like a raw fish $50 (general) to $500 (ring side). So stop making arguments that doesn't have any value. GGG is fighting a guy who was KO by the bum of Rubio in a PPV. Ward already have in his resume Bika, Abraham, Froch, Kessler, Dawson and Green.

Lol , what's funny is how gung-ho GGG fans were when GGG was pretending to wanna fight Ward (while Ward was handcuffed by contractual restraints ) . but as soon as Ward became free , GGG and camp became full of excuses and cowardly , so as a result GGG's fan constituency also became full of excuses and cowardly justifying GGG's duck sauce like little clones . When GGG's clone fans thought GGG wanted the Ward fight it was straight sh.t talk , but when Ward called his bluff u clones switched the narrative quick and started talking about the financial viability of the fight . Very Gay !

So you want GGG to take some 168 tuneups first to land a guy that fights on BET and undercards? I think headlining PPV in a unification, then massive show vs Canelo/Cotto is a better path. Ward's got no such options. Can we assume this upcoming fight vs scrub fight will be his 2nd tuneup for Kovalev? Or how many does he need?

Ward was saying GGG was ducking him the whole time ("8 or 9 excuses"), only then it comes out he said no to HBO while GGG said yes. Wasn't good timing for him then. It's not good timing for GGG now, so what's the holdup on Kovalev?

Nothing has changed K2 has always said 1st and foremost they wanted GGG to clean out 160 when no one would fight him 168 was an option but now that it looks realistic to actually clean out 160 all the 168 fights are on the back burner.

It was that interview translated from Russian. Team GGG never backtracked on it, and Ward (or HBO) never denied. Instead said recently, the timing wasn't right then.

Ward wouldn't need to move up to LHW, he was already there in his last fight, FFS.

So moving back down from 172 is ok - but he couldn't do it from 175?

                  Why the **** not?

GGG vs Ward is a PPV all day long and will out do GGG vs Lemuiox #'s
As I've stated before , particular match ups are the key to big PPV #'s not necessarily what the fighters do individually vs cans

It is a great matchup between p4p guys, but one guy is still gaining momentum and chasing big fights at his own weight class while the other guy is shaking off ring rust and trying to get back into the picture. The fight makes more sense in a year or two anyway.

If it wasn't for Loeffler's poor PR skills, we wouldn't have to see 10,000 articles and threads about NOTHING.
If it weren't for GGG's team talking about this fight no one would be interested in a year or two....Ward is boring in AND out of the ring, while GGG is knocking everybody out left and right, going different places to build up his name, and learning English - I applaud him for all of his efforts. Meanwhile we have Ward trying to create his own weight class by avoiding the best at 175 (fighting at 172) and begging smaller fighters to meet him at 168. He's not even an interesting commentator.
