Comments Thread For: Golovkin's Promoter Explains Situation With Andre Ward

One of the hottest topics in boxing is a potential fight between WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (33-0, 30KOs) and WBA super middleweight ruler Andre Ward (28-0, 15KOs).

Ward finally returned from a long layoff in June, but fought at a catch-weight of 172-pounds, near the light heavyweight limit, when stopping Paul Smith.

Golovkin is back on October 17th in a unification with IBF middleweight champion David Lemiuex.

They should be quiet about Ward unless Golovkin has been given his balls back and wants to fight him.

Gennady Golovkin is the biggest coward in boxing today.

He is a black eye on this sport.

Ward had his knees buckled in his last fight with 'Tomato Can Smith.' Wards home town arena was not even half full and Smith had lost his two previous fights before he fought Ward. This article makes too much sense for the GGG haters and the Ward lovers.

Rahim asked him about Ward, what do you want? Their stance about the fight has stayed the same - they're not conceding a weight advantage to Ward until he's got some drawing power. Ward can re-establish himself by beating Kovalev, but Andre says he won't fight Kovalev until he's a full-fledged LHW.

They are only saying something because they are constantly asked by reporters. Ward had his knees buckled in the sixth round by 'Tomato Can Smith.' Smith had lost both of his two previous fights. And Ward couldn't even half fill his own home town arena. This article makes too much sense for the anti-GGG crowd and the Ward worshippers. Ward needs to get his fat butt up and fight Kovalev who has said that he would love to fight Ward. Ward is the one who seems to be lacking the balls.
