what other than bias could possibly lead you to believe that floyd would get outboxed by a guy who had problems with carlos freaking molina?
Floyd doesn't throw many punches, rarely throws combos. This is perfect for the type of fight Lara fights. He wouldn't have to worry about being overrun with power or having to block any furious onslaught. Just because A beats B doesn't mean B can't beat C.

So again, who was the last pure, southpaw boxer Floyd fought that held height and reach advantages over him?

... Something like that... I'm not one of Lara's fans, but the guy is really good.

let's completely neglect the questions i posed

              A:

when has lara fought the best defensive fighter of all time?

this is a much more important question

              B:

did you see his fight with carlos freaking molina?

Mayweather lands 22 out of 28 punches and Lara lands 21 out of 29.

                Mayweather wins.

If Lara stayed on his bike the entire fight he could possibly pull off the decision. I'd still favor Floyd if it came down to it
