... Bulgarians were the "big mafia" in amateur judging back then... You don't have the slightest idea in this field...

... Lara beats Floyd, Golovkin AND your boy Ward -- if proper refereeing is in place...

Lara is great at managing distance, working behind his lead hand and varying the speed on his combos. His offense is basic but the way he delivers it is tricky. He taps with his lead hand but he varies it in a way that you don't know when the left down the middle is coming or occasionally he'll shoot the right hook which I wish he used more. Once he gets off, he already has an exit plan in place to avoid return fire.

The issue in this matchup, is Floyd's timing over top the lazy jab is exceptional. I can see Lara pulling out ahead 4-2, then Floyd starts to get his timing down to cruise in the later rounds. If Mayweather gets Lara hesitant to use his lead hand what will he do at that stage?

I think Lara wins by ud. He is just as fast or faster than today's Mayweather and his defense is as good or better than Mayweather' defense. Mayweather can't stay at long range and pot shot Lara because Lara has height and reach on Mayweather and Lara has long, fast, accurate straight punches. Lara is bigger, stronger and hits harder than Mayweather. Mayweather can't attack either because Lara will catch him with his fast and powerful straight left and his accurate right jab. Mayweather is the best welterweight in the world but I don't think any welterweight alive can beat Lara or Canelo at 154. I know Mayweather clearly beat a drained 152 pound Canelo two years ago but Mayweather has slowed down and Canelo is much smarter and better as the Cotto fight will show.

probably a combined 30 punches per round between both of them and a full marathon in the ring so otherwise an extremely boring fight

Lara would make Mayweather look old, which he is. But Floyd would find a way to win a decision. The fight would be tediously slow, maybe 20 punches thrown by each fighter per round. Still light years more competitive than Berto.
