and i remember the angulo fight

lara is one of the more overrated fighters on bscene. it's a product of his not being favored by networks, promotors, etc. it's not a function of his abilities as a fighter.

if you think lara can beat floyd, why isn't he on your P4P list?

Bottom line. I can see a lara vs trout type of fight..
With it slightly more competitive . Floyd would have to pressure to win . To do that he has to exert more energy and leave himself open to counters .. Laras measurements and style benefit him vs floyd.

It'd probably break the record for most punches thrown in a fight ever.

I think Floyd has more tools in his belt than Lara.

Didn't Lara struggle against Martirosyan and Molina?

Never. Lara has advantages here. He wouldn't be worried about floyds power, so this is Lara's fight to win from the outside.

This is why Floyd is fighting berto instead.

when was the last time erislandy lara fought one of the best pure boxers and defensive fighters of all time?

what other than bias could possibly lead you to believe that floyd would get outboxed by a guy who had problems with carlos freaking molina?

                    foreign inferiority complex manifested

floyd beat a cuban in the olympics, and got robbed by a bulgarian. i'm pretyty sure that bulgaria was never in the USSR, but were a soviet ally in the cold war.

                      Does not even matter why??

1-I will say Floyd wins as others with common sense will

2-The usual suspects will say Floyd loses and thats why he is ducking him

3-Floyd signs to fight him and wins

4-All the sudden Lara is a bum and Floyd is ducking someone else

                      rinse and repeat....

                      Floyd wins 116-112
