    No.

You cant define one guy doing better than the other by just the number of rounds. That doesn't even remotely tell the story of the fight.

How many rounds did Cotto look like he didnt belong in the same ring as Mayweather? Zero. What about Canelo? How many rounds was he completely embarrassed and clowned in there?

    Most of em.

This may come as a shock to you. I Rescored this fight 117-111 for Mayweather

I gave rounds 2,4,8 to Canelo

      Everything else to TBE.

Pretty Much Canelo won more rounds against Mayweather than he did against Cotto.

Cotto only won round 6 and round 8.

You cannot tell me that Cotto won any round that wasn't round 6 or round 8.

Who cares what you scored it.

Floyd said it was his toughest fight and Canelo was one of his easiest. And the only one who has gotten better in that time is Cotto, not Canelo lol. Canelo peaked about 15 fights ago.

Even if you believe Canelo won that many rounds it is a naive point. Rounds won is a very dubious way of judging which fight is more competitive.

If you edge 3 rounds and get blown out in 9 others that is the same as is a guy has 3 really good rounds and is competitive in the other 9.

Plus it doesn't matter either way because neither of the guys can do what Floyd does, but I do think Cotto is going to be very comfortable with the pace of the fight and how the fight is fought unless Canelo can hurt Cotto enough to force him on his backfoot.

Cotto gave Floyd a way tougher fight but Mayweather had such a great performance that it was hard to give Cotto more than 2 or 3 rounds.

I watched both fights last night too! Canelo, was toyed with for most of the night. Not once did Floyd look uncomfortable. Cotto, made Floyd very uncomfortable and I think the fight was only decided in the championship rounds. NO WAY did Canelo do better than Cotto.

116-112 in favor of Canelo? May I ask you what color the sky is in your world?
