Cotto will systematically breakdown Canelo, might not stop him, heck probably won't, kid has a great chin but he is in for a long, painful, career shortening ride.

Pretty Much Canelo won more rounds against Mayweather than he did against Cotto.


Cotto only won round 6 and round 8.


You cannot tell me that Cotto won any round that wasn't round 6 or round 8.

canelo had more close rounds, but most of them edged by floyd imo, cotto was more dominant on the rounds he won.

Perception vs Reality is a tricky thing to master and get a firm understanding of my friend.

I also had Canelo Winning more Rounds than Cotto and I am a bigger cotto fan than Canelo but first and foremost I am a bigger boxing fan in general.

Canelo beat up Cottos older brother who probably whooped lil bro all their lives

If Canelo won any rounds it was because Floyd felt completely in control of the fight (which he was) and breezed through them which made it appear that it was close for Canelo to take it. Cotto made Floyd work hard for the majority of the rounds even if he only one 2-3 rounds himself.

Mayweather put on a master class vs Canelo. Cotto put up a tougher fight and made the rounds closer. Both guys lost pretty clearly.

Had 4 rounds for Canelo, but could see 5 for him.

I also saw 4 rounds for Cotto. He did a lot more damage than Canelo but also took a lot more damAge than Cotto.

Neither did better than Manny.
