I really think Cotto would have destroyed Vargas. I just think stylistically Vargas would never be able to get away from Cotto's left hook or jab. Obviously Vargas would land some good punches on Cotto and have rounds where he outboxed him also, but once Cotto starts landing his left hook it won't be long.

Even in Vargas' most impressive fight against Quartey he was getting caught by left hooks early. Once he started walking Quartey down and smothering his punches he faired much better. Vargas is a sucker for a left hook. He always was. He would get caught over and over by Miguel.

Canelo fight would be close to the same. I do think both Cotto and Canelo would have a much harder time against guys like Wink and Quartey than Vargas. Ad Tito is just a nightmare matchup for Cotto and Canelo

What do you think would happen when a undefeated bigger Vargas Lands that left hook on The smaller Cotto??

What is Vargas smoking?? He couldn't beat an old De La Hoya, even with steroids! This Fernando dude forgets he lost every big fight he was ever in, and almost always it ended with him getting KOed. The guy just couldn't take a good punch. Way too many Mexican warriors from that era and Vargas can't hold their jock strap.

- At 147 or 154 Tito by TKO, ref would stop the fight. It would be good for about 4-5 rounds, once Tito starts to land his bombs..it would be all down hill for Canelo. Same goes for Vargas , Vargas would have stoped Canelo as well.

Hmmm...Vargas was a natural Jr middlewgt where as Cotto wasn't...So I would have to go w/ Vargas on a matchup between him & Cotto. It's liketrying to match up Mayweather vs Sugar Ray Leonard at welter Leonard was a bigger Welter in his prime where Floyd became a Welter in his mid 30's in other words Floyd is not a natural Welterwgt.

- Cotto is a better overall boxer, but Cotto's natural size would be the problem, Tito is naturally the bigger guy, And Titos strenghts would give Cotto huge problems, that being Tito never really got tired, and Tito would be coming and coming. And once Tito hurts Cotto he would finish him. Styles make fights. Cotto would have his moments for sure, the guy can box.
