"Team Triple G was presented with a chance for greatness by fighting Ward"

So beating Ward or fighting Ward is now more "greatness" than becoming undisputed champion of a division? The hatred for this man has made folks really lose their marbles and redefine the definition of boxing greatness to suit their own needs. It's funny how many "NEW" fans Ward has these days and it's by the same mofo's that accused everyone of hating on Mayweather and Pacquaio. I'm just baffled at this point, I've never seem people clamor for a fight by two guys not even in the same division much less even posing a threat to each others division or legacy. I could understand if these guys were in the same division or even had actual bad blood between them.

I like his style so can't say anything bad about it.

I like different styles of boxing being a a fan of the sport for a long time. People know what entertains them but can respect what fighters have to do to be successful (as in win). Each to their own in every sense.

GGG has everybody intimidated. Yes, he hasn't fought any elite fighters and he won't go up to 160 to fight ward. On the other hand, I don't see anybody taking on that challenge. Lemieux is the only guy who I feel is confident in his abilities and has spoken openly about how he will beat up GGG. Hats off to David! Until somebody mans up (including himself fighting Ward at 168) and beats him, he shall continue to play his role of the boogie man!

Exactly. Basically in order to please the haters Golovkin needs to forget his own ambitions of unifying and cleaning out his division, And instead needs to fight Ward right away at 168.
All of these anti GGG posters claim "what happened to everyone at 154-168?".... Gennady a team has always said if it made sense as in $$$$$ they would do it. Froch and Chavez jr made money and were the A side. Ward doesn't being $$ it's that simple

OR team ggg doesn't believe he can beat Ward and a Ward loss makes no financial sense

In fact according to sources there have been zero attempts at even presenting the fight between the promoters. And another thing, GGG said 164 because he is the attraction and the "A" side which means it's a negotiating tactic to gain leverage. There is no economic inventive to fight Andre Ward at this time because it's too expensive for HBO (or BET lol) and would have to be on PPV. Maybe next year but Ward doesn't currently carry the economic clout to make it worthwhile ..

And zero quality wins?? Considering he's fought and easily knocked out past champions and top contenders that's a joke of a comment. Quit hating bro
enlighten me, who are these past champions and top contenders you speak of? It's alright, you can just say it, team ggg doesn't believe he can beat Ward. If they did, this fight would have gotten made. You can put up the usual smoke screens (no one will fight me, makes no $ sense) but when team ggg was presented the opportunity to prove greatness (Ward fight) thay passed
