Did Price retire? Didn't hear that if he did.

Gotta be honest, I'm not excited about anything Wilder has done since winning his title & fighting the best HW from France hasn't changed my opinion. I've always felt like Wilder & his team was just trying to maximize his paydays his entire career & taking the least amount of risk & nothing has really changed since he won this belt. I feel like if he beat his mandatory, Povetkin, which would be his best win, he'd go right back to fighting 2-3 nobodies that isn't getting anyone excited except Wilder's accountant instead of getting in there with Fury or Klitschko.

After seeing how Wilder has been performing, it's no surprise they are taking their time before putting him in with a legit competitor. They know he has much to work on. I like Wilder but Povetkin is going to smash him if they ever fight.

This is a really bad card for primetime NBC. I expect ratings to decrease for the 3rd consecutive primetime NBC card.

We will finally find out if Americans care about heavyweights anymore. Wilder is a KO artist with a major belt. If viewers don't tune in, boxing has a long road ahead.

The dude is a "champion". If he is not ready for a legit competitor while being a "champion" then he needs to get into a different profession. Wilder is trash and he is embarrassing himself.

And what has Wlad done that's "exciting"? Or Povetkin? Jennings?

Wilder is the most exciting thing to come along in the division in a very long time. An athletic HW with 32 KOs in 33 fights. You guys whine when Wlad and Povetkin fight the worst HW fight of all time, then turn around and whine about Wilder's rise.

Face it, boxing fans are the biggest bunch of whiny b******* in sports.

my problem is the hate here..duhaupas is the more complete and much more intelligent boxer...wilder floats aroudn the ring all night looking for one punch..duhaupas has never touched the canvas...and this is the first fight were wilders jab will not be the best in the ring...

povetkin is all ppl want, but then if wilder beat him ppl say it was bc he was short, klit already beat him, and he even lost to huck...give it a rest and stop naming hunting and start juding skill for skill

wilder is very beatable and any fight he is in should be good bc he is highly incapable of dominating just using one hand

I dont think you understood the context in which he used, "exciting." He meant, impressive. What wlad has done is impressive. wilder has done nothing impressive. His whole career is carefully navigated.
