People didn't want Maidana twice, they didn't want Ortiz, they didn't want Guerrero, each fight happened with rumours ,speculation and allegations of the Pacquiao surrounded each of those bouts. Heck, Khan was the fans choice throughout the entirety of 2014 lol

The fact is, Floyd gave us the fight the fans wanted. It's really as simple as that. All the fans wanted the Pacquaio fight and they got it. So you can't say "Floyd didn't give us the fight the fans wanted" when clearly he did exactly that.

I won't even address the idea of the fans not wanting Canelo because that's nothing more than revising history.
