Ward's a bigger draw now than Rigo ever was, horrible comparison. Ward can at least sell out Oakland. Rigo couldn't sell out my favorite Cuban restaurant.

You need capitals, periods and spaces if you want me to start taking what you say seriously. Secondly, back that up with substance. Dawson, immediately after the Hopkins fight, called out Andre Ward and said I'll go down to 168. This is what happens when you run your mouth and you don't intend to back it up and Ward didn't budge as he shouldn't have. No amount of excuses changes that scenario.

Ben Thompson : I was asking because, well, obviously the biggest fight in boxing is Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, but in my opinion, the second biggest fight that can be made is Andre Ward vs. Sergio Martinez. I know Martinez's people have been saying they don't want to move up any higher in weight, but I was curious to know if you thought maybe you could get down to maybe 165 and meet him at a catchweight.

Andre Ward: I think something like that could be reasonable. I would have to really take my time and see if that makes sense, but Sergio Martinez, I would love that fight. I think it would be a great fight for the sport; I really do. I respect his skills, I respect what he's done and what he's doing, and I say this with the utmost respect, man, that's a fight that, if it can happen, it should happen. I would love that.

Lol, in his own words - that seems reasonable.

Oh goodness. The desperation is getting thick. He said he would like to think that he could beat a Klitschko because as a competitor he has to think that way; that he could beat anyone. Twisting people's words to conveniently support your argument is one of the oldest and cheapest tricks in the book.

8,000 in Oakland is better than 500 for Rigo. And again, he's American, speaks English, earned a gold medal and... is already more well known than Rigo. So again, him being on the Cotto/Canelo undercard, if it were to happen, will get him more exposure than GGG having his own PPV.

Why all of you get offended is beyond me. Facts actually piss you people off as if I'm the one making these undercards or rules about how many people are going to watch which fights lol.

All he said was he would think about that. Reading comprehension is a great thing.

He never said he would and he never did. GGG not only called out 168 he agreed to two fights there. So why wouldn't Ward assume he would fight him at 168?
