Ward fought on bet because that's how far he's fallen, commercially he's basically as non-existent as one can get. Nobody was interested in him, that's why he fought there.

He fought on Bet because his guaranteed purse is $2 million, HBO didn't want to pay that for a fight with Smith. Nothing to do with his popularity.

Rocnation did a time buy and covered all the costs, bet didn't pay him two million. It has everything to do with popularity, you don't do a time buy if you have a product the public wants.

GGG just sold 15k seats at MSG with the fight being 2 months away. While Ward is trying to get back into the game and make a name for himself after being away from the sport for so long. I understand what team GGG is saying.

I like both Ward and GGG and if they were a little closer in weight it would be a magnificent showdown but right now they're currently 12lbs apart from where they both weight in. GGG @ 160 and Ward @ 172. I would hate to see this fight materialize with one fighter having an advantage over the other due to a CW. Either GGG would have to go up in weight and away from a weight where he's performing great at, or Ward would have to come down in weight and possibly drain himself in the process.

GGG is fighting Lemiuex and possibly the winner of Cotto/Canelo after so long as he's victorious. The fight for Ward that the fans SHOULD be clamoring for is Ward vs Krusher. Why? Both fighters are only 3lbs apart and technically fight in the same division.

This A side B side crap is ****** ...GGG or ward are even ...GGG hasn't fight better comp than ward ...ward was number 2 behind Floyd while active ....GGG sells pretty good but not a ppv star without a great opponent ...they are even ...stop saying 154-168 if you don't mean it

Fight at 168 or shut up, seriously. Arguably GGG deserves the bigger split though, been more active, Ward just coming back even though Ward is the vastly more accomplished fighter.
