That was because those fighters wanted to establish a foothold in the US where most of the money is, it wasn't because Ward made it that way.

It's still 2,931 miles and a 3 hour time difference. As for the fans rooting, you have no idea that fans rooted for Ward just because he is from the US.

Hatton/Floyd had a large contingent of English fans. Addtionally, US audiences in northeast are ethnic. ever been to a fight with an irish or polish fighter in north eastern US? fans do not cheer for the US fighter as much as you suggest.

Carl Froch is a bigger name than both but GGG is second to Froch in terms of fan base, nobody cares about Ward, Ward is the same guy who chickened out of facing Carl Froch in England...

Is that why Carl Froch only wanted to fight Andre Ward in the rematch in Nottingham (his hometown) and refused to fight in London (in his home country)?

Cotto, Mayweather and Pacquiao all moved up multiple weight divisions fighting naturally bigger fighters, all are much bigger stars than Golovkin. Golovkin has been building his name with the "most feared man from 154-168" and "I'll fight anyone from 154-168" but when it came to it he chickened out and pulled the risk/reward excuse.

I said its not an excuse on golovkins part.its ward turning down the fight he doesn't want go down.Im sure he had no problem when dawson moved down for him.
