  • well.... he's not

You can talk about how Ward will win all day, but he's not the A-side.

The best he has going for him is he's with the promoter who's willing to lay down more money

Also, does anyone really think that Lara, the guy that had a very close fight against Canelo, would actually beat Golovkin? Also, good luck getting Lara's promoter to make this fight happen for such a low amount of money. Lara's not even a popular draw.

Bernard Hopkins: the same guy who weighed in 186 vs Pascal. Golovkin's such a coward. Same for

Andre Ward: double standards. You people criticize GGG for wanting to fight Mayweather Jr (the biggest name in boxing equaling more fame and $$$), but fail to realize Andre Ward:

        a) has been a professional boxer for 2 years longer than Golovkin
        b) actually cleaned out his division (thanks to the super 6 tournament)
        c) still has not changed weight classes
        d) said he would fight anyone from 168-175 (still waiting on that Ward vs Kovalev)

Hahaha these GGG's fan are something else. They even make stuff up just to justify GGG's actions....this is insane!!!

        My friend SniXSniPe,

1st where's the reference of B-Hops weight on fight night against Pascal?...please show!

2nd... There's an actual twit from Lara dated Dec 18, 2014...Calling out GGG...but the 1st interview of Lara he openly challenging GGG is from Feb 18, 2015 on the BoxingVoice...titled:- Recently, Lara has started calling out Golovkin for a big fight.....GGG fights Monroe on 05/16/15.

So, you guys are full of it!!!

Certainly not how it happened. With Hopkins they clearly respectfully denied his offer of a fight (why in the world would they want to fight Hopkins at 168 right now?). Leoffler was being respectful to Hopkins in the interview basically saying "we're not interested in Hopkins, perhaps some other time who knows".

People are reaching HARD with the Al Haymon Lara talk, as if the 154 pounder is even remotely a threat to Golovkin. The only legit talk here is with Ward, who is a weight class above Golovkin and it's clear K2 aren't interested in Ward this moment when they are mandatory to Cotto/Canelo winner.

What we do know is that the lineal middleweight champ decided to fight Daniel Geale instead of #1 challanger and mandatory in Golovkin, so there is that of course.

I like both Ward and GGG and if they were a little closer in weight it would be a magnificent showdown but right now they're currently 12lbs apart from where they both weight in. GGG @ 160 and Ward @ 172. I would hate to see this fight materialize with one fighter having an advantage over the other due to a CW. Either GGG would have to go up in weight and away from a weight where he's performing great at, or Ward would have to come down in weight and possibly drain himself in the process.

GGG is fighting Lemiuex and possibly the winner of Cotto/Canelo after so long as he's victorious. The fight for Ward that the fans SHOULD be clamoring for is Ward vs Krusher. Why? Both fighters are only 3lbs apart and technically fight in the same division.
-Ward and Golovkin walk around within ten pounds of each other

-Golovkin sold 15k tickets, at least 8k of which were likely priced at $50 (Ward-Smith drew about as well as Ward-Dawson, with the relative ticket pricing still in flux; have no doubt that Ward was able to bring in another $700k gate)

-With Team Golovkin seemingly trying to dictate terms to Cotto/Canelo, i doubt that fight happens (WBC will make Cotto/Canelo winner WBC 160 champion emeritus, to then turn around and sanction Cotto-Canelo II for the vacant WBC 154 belt, while also sanction Golovkin versus another can); playing that "A-side" BS is a double-edged sword

-Sergey Kovalev walks into the ring over 190lbs for his fights; Ward likely walked into the ring for the Paul Smith fight in the high 170s.

            • When this g boy does something beside fight bums & beat the level of opponent like what Ward did in the Super Six Boxing Classic then he can talk. Until then he needs to take his C- level zza somewhere and stop running from Andre.

Lara: "Hey, I fight you at 160"
Team GGG: "What?, Lara's team never reached to us."
Team Lara: "Yes we did. Lara (himself) calling GGG out in public."
Team GGG: "Ehhh, who the hell is Lara, has no name, no pull". (went and fought Monroe)

                  B-Hop: "You know what?, I'll fight GGG @ 168."

                  ^This right here.

We'll have to put the Golovtards on mass-suicide watch once the Bumlovkin hype train gets derailed...

                    How is Ward not the A side when;

                    - He's actually the REAL champion in his division
                    - He makes more money than Bumlovkin
                    - He has the much better resume
