"Sugar" Shane Mosley is power-dialing his travel agent right now to get on a flight to Miami ... in a last ditch effort to take down promoter Don King in court -- and save his comeback fight scheduled for August 29th at The Forum in Los Angeles.

TMZ Sports has learned Mosley got bad news from Wednesday's hearing in a Miami federal court -- where King is trying to shut down Mosley's rematch with Ricardo Mayorga.

King did this before to Mayorga in a Florida court and the judge ordered King to put up $1 Million in cash - and gave him only a few hours to do it.

Anyone with a brain on Shane's Team should have known this was a huge possibility. I mean Mayorga got a fight with a semi big name, which will net him a decent payday.

King ain't give two ****s about him fighting the bums, so someone on Shane's team should have prepared for this moment.

My gut feeling, fight is not happening.
