Could LSC run through Mares' resume and retain his undefeated record?

I think PDL would out slug him, Moreno could have outboxed him, it's a toss up with Jhonny because of the pressure, Vic and Agbeko would be tough fights, Acosta would be an interesting clash due to their styles. The last three fights on Mares' resume would be easy for Leo but I'm not so sure the rest would.

    Thoughts?

Ponce de Leon, Agbeko and Jhonny Gonzalez would beat Santa Cruz

we cant really say, since LSC has a padded record.
looking at their size i would say LSC would outbox him with relative ease.
we'll see how he stands up to mares pressure and if his chin holds up on saturday

Leo doesn't have the power to hurt Mares. Mares has been in there with some serious punchers and stood up to flush shots from all with the exception of Jhonny. I think Mares beards him down.

mares was right up there in the p4p conversation until that shock loss to gonzalez. unfortunately it seems as if taking on such a gauntlet of tough opponents has taken its toll on his body and he's not quite the same fighter any more. although i hope to be proven wrong, i'd love nothing more than to see santa cruz ktfo

Perhaps, but I'm not so certain Mares is shot quite yet.

For Leo, this will be his toughest fight to date, for Mares, just another scrap against a good name. Lite work.

Moreno beats him. (the version that Mares fought definitely)

Ponce, Darchinyan, Agbeko and Gonzalez also give him hell.

I think he would have 3-4 losses.

Santa Cruz gives that Caveman ( PDL ) a Boxing lesson ( I cant believe I said that , but its true! ).Moreno is a BUM! he went to war with a guy with one win and a draw in his eight professional bout and lost! -- he had to fight him twice to get it right. The only thing Im going to say about Dar-Chin-ian is that hes a glass jaw cheater -- and Ronda Rousey kicked his ass in sparring!

But I gotta give props to Jhonny Gonzalez for KO that little smurf Abner Mares.
