After reading his quote I agree. I don't think Lemieux's power will be a factor at all in this fight. GGG should have an easy time with him because he is superior in every aspect of the game.

You'll be in the group of people shocked then. Lemieux is no bum. GGG may eventually win, but if he's truthful he'll tell us afterwards it was his toughest fight. It will not be easy for either fighter.

Good stretegy Sanchez. Let's get into Lemieux's head. The psychology of boxing is just as sweet as the science. Afterall, psychology is part of science. Work it.

Last time I checked, Stevens is even worse about letting his freaking hands go. And Lemieux has insane relentless pressure, great power, great accuracy. Again, this is GGGs toughest test by far.

Lemieux can crack, but GGG has the overall better skill set that will be able to offset anything Lemieux does. Man just watching Lemieux, he's a good ****er, that's about it, only comes forward, throw a stiff jab in his face he resets every time, it should be an easy win for GGG.

I'd like the fight more, A if it was on reg HBO, and B if I knew Lemieux had a good solid chin that would be able to stand up to GGG's power, but we all know that will not happen.

Agreed. Curtis just plods forward behind his guard, barely jabs, no setup. It's why he gets outboxed by Brinkley, N'Dam, and Tureano Johnson. Even Findley was beating him. David is far more active and puts crazy pressure on his opponents. N'Dam never had a chance to set himself until David tired later in the fight. He was blitzing Rubio before he wrecklessly dived into a Rubio counter.

Powerwise, they seem the same but I always thought Lemieux had more snap. Some his punches are like a mouse trap being set off.

Regarding the N'Dam and Rubio fights; N'Dam beat him outside the knockdowns, but they were real and he deserved to win.
Rubio followed his fight plan and did exactly what he said he would do.
Lemieux's power has not changed and Golovkin has a tremendous chin. I expect him to handle David but if he catches the Kazahk with a surprise he doesn't see GGG can go down. Lemieux is not a bum, but then neither were Martin Murray nor an undrained Geale. Curtis caught him with a couple hooks and they didn't faze him at all. Rosado caught both of them and it bothered Lemiex way more than GGG. The guy has a serious chin besides good defense, it's part of what makes him great. We'll see, I think Lemieux throws with power quickly, so anything can happen.
