Lemiux is there to get hit. He encourages it. Look at what rubio did to himi think cotto wont have as easy a left hook target than he did with geale and martinez; lemieux is very covered up and comes forward relentlessly. something cotto does not handle very well..
but what cotto does have is a crisp jab that lemieux absolutely lacks..
and to address lemieux's loss against rubio, lemieux was relatively green, and lost because of stamina/pacing issues, which has gotten much better although still there..
but then again, cotto had a lot of trouble with margarito's relentless pressure and power, and often gassed in the later rounds...
i actually favor lemieux 60-40 in this match upComment

Oh I'm well aware that Cotto is small at 160 and I've often said I wish he'd drop the belts, but Cotto is Cotto and (until I have much better proof of Lemieux's mettle) a much better fighter than both those guys.
As far as the comparison to Rubio's power, what evidence is there that Rubio hits harder than Miguel?Comment
