      Good call !

The best post in this thread (once I removed 2 lil words), props to you Sir.

the middleweight limit is 160...155-160,,if cotto wants to fight at 155,thats fine,it's middleweight, but let the other guy fight as a middleweight between 155 and 160,when you want the opponent to weight what you want that's wrong, you are just getting them all weak by draining them,if cotto doesn't want the middleweights to weigh in at 160 he should go back to 154,but he will probably do something similar too

When a middleweight is forced to cut additional weight below the usual 160 limit, is he really the bigger guy?

How do I know how the weight affected each middleweight in question ?

Especially a middleweight who has been making 160 consistently.

Cotto would of gotten major props if he wouldn't play the drain game. that and the Martinez inactivity/surgery.

You should know about catch weights. You were against it when it was done to Cotto. Remember 1 pound makes a big difference.

Why don't you just say your idol Cotto is bigger than boxing. You step that far out on a limb, may as well go all in.

                ---------------------------------------------------------------------

So we have 3 great fights here... Canelo/Cotto, Lemieux/GGG, and then the 2 winners of those 2 fights going at it. Looks like some amazing clear blue skies for fight fans coming soon.

Never said Cottos bigger than boxing. But does the MW title make Cotto vs Canelo any bigger?

No it doesn't, you're right about that.

That fight should happen at 154. It has been discussed for the last 2 years, and was only ever considered at JMW.

Cotto accidentally picking up the MW strap by winning a money fight with Martinez beforehand..... will not sell 1 more ticket imho.

Cotto really should dump the belt instead of campaigning at catchweight.

                    But great fight, cant wait.
