Floyd's 5th looks so much more legit on paper, you wouldn't have guessed he can't handle the weight and can only fight blown up dudes at 154. Either way its shocking he's been sitting on belts for 3+ years without a single defense at regulation weight. Ever heard of another champ that disgraceful?
Canelo and Oscar are blown up at 154?? Cotto has even gone up another divisions and become lineal..your argument is dumb, name anyone at 154 or 160 with a better resume then Floyds just at 154..I will wait

This has been explained to you and your ilk thousands of times. Froch and Chavez Jr are far less talented than Ward, but offered far more money. GGG was willing to fight them and then go back to 160 where he has unfinished business and continue to fight guys his own size. Ward is a guy who won gold a decade ago at 178. He's larger, taller, longer reach, more accomplished and talented than GGG. Despite all that GGG is either willing to meet him halfway now, or wait until he's done at 160 and has time to grow into 168.

De La Hoya fought Hopkins in his 6th division. Duran fought Hagler 25 lbs north of Duran's best weight ffs. If Floyd won't defend his 154 lb belts he needs to give them up to someone who will. Whether that's GGG, Lara, Cotto or Andrade makes no difference to me. Just don't fight shot Berto level opponents and have your stans claim you have 2 weights on lockdown.
Dawson is the one who begged for Ward and called out Ward AT 168!!!! AND what kind of **** fan are you?? you want GGG to move down and fight a 39 year old in his 5th divisions who cant even make 150?? but he needs a catchweight to fight Ward from his ast damn divisions even though he fought in the Olympics at 165? GGG fans are not confident in him at all i see..

Canelo was 152, do I really have to remind you? Oscar won his 1st title at 130, same as Floyd. Look it up, Floyd has been holding a SWW title since Cotto in 2012, and hasn't made a single defense at 154.

Team GGG are on record saying " anyone from 154-168 ".

We all know that was horse-shht.

Do you have any quotes from people who are not known liars ?

He defended that title on 13/9/2014, stop embarrasing yourself.

And yes, that defence was rubbish, but not worse rubbish than GGG's recent opponents

My honest opinion is it was definitely a set up by HBO and other people too. It was set up for me to come in at 168. I would be vulnerable and they could expose it and he would look good at the same time. That's just my opinion on the whole situation. We could've done it at a catch weight where we both would've been comfortable but they wanted it at 168.

            - Chad Dawson

I suppose you think Canelo was dying to drain himself down to 152 to fight Floyd?

AND what kind of **** fan are you?? you want GGG to move down and fight a 39 year old in his 5th divisions who cant even make 150??
I think Floyd should defend his 154 lb titles against solid opposition or give them up. Whether that's GGG or Andrade makes no difference to me.

but he needs a catchweight to fight Ward
While he's trying to make fights at 154 or possible CW somewhere between 154 and 160, if Ward wants to fight soon then yes.

from his ast damn divisions even though he fought in the Olympics at 165?
Same day weigh in. Ward was fighting at 178 but he's still hiding out at 168 fighting people coming off multiple straight defeats a decade later. While begging a (inexperienced at the elite pro level) MW to move up a full 8 lbs to fight him.

GGG fans are not confident in him at all i see..
Confident that he beats any MW on the planet. Most of them by KO. Fairly confident that he beats the best boxer on the planet at a weight where he holds 2 current world titles (6 lbs south of GGG.).

Uh whatever. They approached Frochs promoter multiple times, Hearn confirmed. He didn't wanna call their bluff.

When they said 154-168, they agreed to fight Ward. The timing didn't work for Ward, remember?

                It likely was a bluff.

They have not backed up a single thing they have said, not once.

                It does now.

                What happened ?

                164, is what happened.

Apparently, it pays to call Team Golovkins bluff.

They backed out with Ward, who knows what would have happened with Froch.

Beating Lemieux isn't going to be the win to do it.

And now its bad timing for A side Ggg, sorry. He's got this Ppv to headline, ticket buying fans to entertain, belts to unify, and a superstar making opportunity ahead vs Cotto/Canelo.

In the mean time Ward should go fight Kovalev and revive his flagging career. What's the holdup IYO?

And I take nothing away from GGG at all. I just like Crawford's style more, and his competition I think is slightly higher.
