That's why jmm had probs with Floyd, jmm could fight PAC in his sleep , jmm was obsessed with PACs style and not given much thought about Floyd.

You can count on one hand where Floyd has disadvantages in a 18 year career. Bottom line he was facing pasdt his best dlh. Even at his peak dlh was nothing too special, so it was a calculated risk and no big deal. His loss to BH was still fresh in most peoples minds
DLH in his prime was more than special. But yes, Floyd faced a faded DLH, which makes Pacfart fans hyping Pac's DLH win even more laughable. That's like beating this version of RJJ or James Toney.

Manny fans love ignoring facts when it's convenient. Like how they had no real answer for Pac refusing to take the test, or how there was no shoulder injury before the fight.

thousands upon thousands of fighters I've seen fight through injuries and I have myself and this fool has a torn rotator cuff but is taking selfies, throwing hundreds of punches? Icing on the Bull ***** pie is he didnt complain in the corner, recieved no rub down and didnt bring it up in the interview.

I had a shoulder injury over a year ago (shoulder stain/rotator cuff) and I was advised not to hit my heavy bag for months, I cheated and when I did it hurt like hell and my jab wasnt worth a damn, not to mention it was tough even lifting a 5-10 pound grocery bag past waist level but this dude fights 12 rounds and dont even wince?

You know it looks bad when you trainer, a hall of famer, 80 time trainer of the year isnt even monitoring what you eat and drink. Didnt even bother to ask what was in Ariza's pre work out drinks for Manny.Scared of needles with tattoes

If floyd would have never brought up ODST this whole scenario couldve turned out different.

Arum most likely advised him to come up with an excuses for his uninspiring performance.

                  • I'll take Pacman over Floyd because he simply is far more exciting and he's a chance taker and tries to eliminate the judges jobs.
If I'm watching a fight I give more weight to the aggressor who is forcing the action as long as he's effective. Great counter guys like Benitez and Floyd have terrific skills but are far less entertaining to me.
I want to see a fight using boxing skills and I want to see chances being taken because consequences is the key factor to watch boxing.
If there's to much countering and a lack of aggression the tempo will suffer and the less engaging leads to boring encounters.
I'm not saying Hopkins & Floyd aren't skill but they are boring!

I'll take Manny even though his skill level is less than Floyds he at least
                    brings excitement and suspense.

you do realize his ko ratio is hardly any better than floyds and excitement doesnt equate to skills....if they did Ray Mancini's and Gatti's place in the hall of fame would be justified but its not. They were not good enough to stand along Ali, Napoles, Basilio etc.

You gotta be a straight fan boy to put Manny over Floyd at this point

Floyd has beaten more champions, won far more lineal title fights and even alphabet ones, triple the title defenses of Manny, beat most of their common opponents first, Manny never beat JMM clearly....not even once and Floyd whitewashed him after a 21 month lay off

preference is cool....the thread didnt ask who you like more though....im just saying. Logic and emotion arent the same thing and Manny is an emotional pick, not a logical one for this thread.
