Do you think Mayweather would have been able to perform better if he didn't have notoriously brittle hands?

Not really the same thing though. Floyd's brittle hands is more of a condition, Pac doesn't have shoulder/arm persisting injuries that I know of. Not making excuses for either btw.

But it's awfully convenient that something like a shoulder injury pops up after the loss. Where was the concern prior to the fight? If Manny won, would the shoulder be even mentioned? Those are the questions I have.

And if Floyd ever lost to anyone, I would be very surprised if he blamed it on brittle hands...

He'll get in......Had a long undefeated run.....had an exciting style and a good fan base....lineal champion at 140 with decent amount of defenses and a 4 year reign....he only lost to the best 2 fighters of his generation in is prime or near it. that ill-fated come back he only has 3 losses.
