The SEC website currently doesn't have a TV schedule up for Week 4 (the week that falls with the Wilder fight), so I don't see why Auburn playing at 12pm, Alabama playing at 3pm, and Wilder fighting at 8pm couldn't be set up.
What really matters, is Alabama who's playing some bum team so they will have that game early.

The best way to show Wilder to America at-large is against a good opponent. I'm a diehard boxing fan and the first time I heard this Frenchie's name was in connection to this fight. That's a bad look.
I get excited for big, even money fights. Wilder-Stiverne to start the year was great. Molina and this Frenchie are a waste of time.
The best way to show Wilder to America is to have him fight on TV; ignore it if you want, over 95% of the audience who will likely tune in for the fight (heavyweight bias has me thinking that the audience for the Wilder fight is going to be at or bigger than the debut show) couldn't name two other heavyweights in the top 10.
If PBC was smart, assuming that Wilder performs the way he's expected to perform, they'd have Povetkin footage cued up for 9/26, to start to introduce the viewing audience to Povetkin and his "massive power" (highlight of him laying guys out behind good technique).

I swear his team has no faith in him.
A year or two back, I felt Wilder had the capability of beating some highly regarded opponents had he had the chance. His Team though always opted for the safe fight.
This guy he's fighting isn't gonna help him get to the next level. His team should've picked Tony Thompson or Czar Glazkov - two durable and credible opponents that would give him rounds, but guys that Wilder is definitely capable of beating.
We'll see what happens with Wilder in the next 6-12 months. I like him but I don't think his title reign will be long.

Wilder isn't going to step in to fight, in all likelihood, until 9pm EST; as long as Auburn-Mississippi State kicks off before 6pm [assuming three hours for the game], the viewership for Wilder's fight should be just fine, with the fans able to make in into the actual building because of the Alabama game being early.
Doubt that CBS is going to put on the game any later than 6pm EST, tbh

I think Auburn-MSU is gonna hit the 3.30pm est, 2.30cst time slot.
Alabama will be on noon, 11 am est.
Book it.

Let him enjoy his run, IT WON'T BE LONG! He wants to play things safe because clearly he is not as confident in himself as he pretends to be.
You prepare for Top Level Competition like Wlad and even Povetkin by fighting other Top Level Competition or even their Common Opponents and try to defeat them better than they did.
He is setting himself up to get embarrassed when he steps in with Wlad or Povetkin because he won't be prepared or battle tested. You don't become Champion and start fighting easy fights so you can hold on to that title. I give him a pass for taking 1 vs Molina but 2 weak opponents in a row is a RED FLAG!
Enjoy being Champion FOR NOW Wilder!

Like I said before wilder is lame...As big as he is long reach "bronze bomber" he stays away from real challenges!!!keeps fighting weak 2nd 3rd tier opposition. ...
